For all you out there that don't think it's possible to be friends after a breakup, it is possible! I'm doing it right now. Just stay confident and it will happen. after our breakup, i was the last to realize we are better as friends. but thankfully i have because im happy to have a friend like him. we've helped each other out throughout the days and its been good.  It has been a little over a month since our break up. Everyday is hard but everyday is getting easier. I was best friends with my ex before our relationship, and we decided we NEEDED to be best friends after our relationship. The reason we needed to be best friends is because we have invested so much in each other to just end it now. he is my confidant, my go-to for any problems I have. It wasn't until after we broke up that I realized I love him. He s handsome enough, smart, funny, caring, and so much more. Why do people take so long to reply text messages? Im guessing 90% of the time they aren't texting you back because they just don't care.  No offense, but I don't think this is completely accurate. Sometimes people just don't pay attention to their phones, or social networking is not a priority. There are alot of other factor here. Also... It could be that they prioritise what they do, and other stuff they are dealing with has higher priority. If so, try to understand what else they deal. Or maybe, they may just pick the texts important to them, and ignore the rest. It might also be that they are not the best person to communicate with for your question and sometimes people just have other things to worry about.
